To celebrate the SlideTag winning a “Highly Commended” award at the Australian Fraud Awards, Sekura Global has decided to reopen the SlideTag Challenge at this week’s Security Essen trade fair.

Security Essen 18 is open from the 25th to the 28th of September – 9am to 6pm on the 25th to 27th, and 9am to 4pm on the 28th – and you can find the Sekura Global stand (2E41) in Hall 2.

The SlideTag Challenge is a test of speed and dexterity – designed to showcase how quickly the solution can be applied and removed – that can be completed in total safety. To be in with the chance to win great prizes, come and compete yourself at the Sekura Stand (2E41, in Hall 2).

The SlideTag has a concealed slim-pin, developed specifically to reduce the risk of pin related injuries to customers and staff. Because the solution is one piece, it eliminates the possibility of overlooked pins remaining in merchandise or being left lying on the floor. This fantastic safety benefit makes the SlideTag perfect for securing items with an extra safety consideration, such as children’s wear, as well as pretty much anything else.

The unique ergonomic design of the SlideTag also makes it extremely quick to apply and remove, found to be 82% faster than standard pin tags through independent testing. Not only can you increase the safety levels in your retail environment, but you can reduce the time spent on tagging and removal at checkout; because the SlideTag is a one-piece solution, you also eliminate the need for pin sorting and separate storage.
