Sekura Global sponsored the Retail Risk Conference in Dubai last week, attending the event and showcasing the unique security solutions in the Sekura portfolio to delegates from across the Gulf region.

The two day conference took place on Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 November, in the Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf Dubai, and was attended by leading retailers operating in the Gulf region.

Sekura Global unveiled their latest acquisition – the Sekura Eyewear Tag – alongside other selected security innovations and solutions.

The market-leading Eyewear Tag incorporates a unique torque control system to prevent over-tightening, protecting your merchandise and ensuring it stays saleable, while its ultra-compact one-piece design makes it easy to store and reapply.

The simple twist-on/off application, combined with the fact that it can be fitted without tools, makes the Sekura Eyewear Tag a perennial favourite with sellers of sunglasses and glasses around the world.

The self-retracting BoxGrip SR, with its patented auto-recoil function, was also popular at the event – attracting attention with its self-evident benefits in terms of time saved on the shop floor, convenience in fitting, and improved storability when compared to existing wrap tags.

Chris Napthine, Sekura Global Marketing Director, represented the company. Chris said: “It was a great opportunity to meet and network with retail professionals and discuss the issues impacting loss prevention in the Middle East.

“There’s a huge emphasis on Luxury retail in the UAE and Sekura’s products are well suited to provide LP professionals with the tools they need to combat losses and reduce shrinkage in their businesses, particularly where staff or customer theft is a primary concern.”

Sekura Global delivers innovative security solutions in the fields of Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). Working closely with some of the world’s biggest retailers, Sekura strives to develop market-leading security solutions to help businesses minimise shrinkage and prevent loss wherever possible.
